Attention All Teachers
We will be posting a list of items needed in our local schools.
We are asking teachers to bring us a list of items that you will need in your classroom this year and we will ask for donations of those items.

We all are aware of the amount of money a teacher takes out of their own pocket for their classroom.... we want to help them out. We need you!

Please email or bring in your list by August 1st so we
put together the wish lists and make them public. We
hope to have donated items ready for you to pick up
before your kids come to their first day of class.

We are excited to announce the partnership with Webster Chalk Powder Paints. Watch for classes in the next few weeks. We will be teaching you how to make any painted surface into a chalk board. Great for old frames, furniture, doors, walls.... just about anything you can think of.
Not only will we teach the classes - we will be selling the products in UBUNTU. We are excited that the Webster company has seen our vision and mission for helping our community and people and wants to be a part of all that we are doing.

We have been blessed to have the use of our current location for 2 years. It seems almost impossible that we have already completed almost 4 months of that alotted time.
Our need for a permanent home is a big one, but nothing that our God and our community will not help us find.
We want you to know just what we are looking for so that you can help us search and keep us in your prayers and our success on your hearts.
* We would like a building to be located on our Main St in Pretty Prairie. One that has a very low to free rent so that we can continue to put our proceeds back into the community and surrounding areas.
* We would like a building big enough to add a seperate area for crafting and re-purposing classes and projects.
* A seperate room with a seperate entrance so that we could include our community food bank, which desperately needs a new building as well.
We have been given a couple of options for building a new building but the costs will be need to be paid through donations. If you are interested in helping us begin the planning of a new store, or have a building that we can use, rent or purchase, please contact us. We would love to partner with you.

The purpose of UBUNTU is to help our community and surrounding neighbors. If you know of somone or a project that is in need of help, please contact us.
UBUNTU offers several types of support. In emergency situations we can provide financial help. In other situations we can direct you to the proper agencies for the type of help you need.
Our volunteers are not trained in emergency or mental situations but our community has several people who are trained and we will be happy to get you in touch with them or any outside agency that we think might be able to offer you help.
If your organization has a project you need help doing fundraising, please contact us and we will try to partner with you to help your cause.
